Turkish President inaugurates new interchange on Azerbaijan Boulevard in Sanliurfa

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has inaugurated a new interchange on Azerbaijan Boulevard as part of his visit to Sanliurfa for the TEKNOFEST Southeast festival.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Aslanov.

The new overpass interchange will significantly ease the burden on the city’s transport network and reduce travel time between the city center and GAP Airport.

Azerbaijan Boulevard provides access to Saniurfa’s new 2,000-bed city hospital.
